EXAM CENTERS

The National Board Dental Hygiene Examination is administered only in the United States and Canada. Testing sites are listed in the printed Candidate Guide and also in the online application. The examination is usually administered in each of the sites listed on at least one of the three annual testing dates (usually the Spring date). At the July and December dates, because the number of applicants requesting a center is often small, testing centers are usually established only in dental school sites. If a candidate's first choice is not available or if the center is full, the candidate will be assigned to his or her second choice or the nearest available center.
