Eligibility Requirements
NCIDQ maintains minimum eligibility requirements to enter the examination process and earn the NCIDQ Certificate.
Applicants can qualify to sit for the NCIDQ Examination by completing one of the following three education/experience routes. All eligibility requirements must be met by the date the application is submitted to NCIDQ (not by a future examination date). All experience prior to graduation is limited as indicated below and may serve to satisfy an education requirement for training, but may not apply to credit hours for education.

Advanced Placement (AP), Alabama High School Graduation Exam (AHSGE), California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE), California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE), California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET), College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP), CUNY Proficiency Examination (CPE), Florida Teacher Certification Examinations (FTCE), Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE), New York State Teacher Certification Examinations (NYSTCE)
Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX), National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE), Special Purpose Examination (SPEX), United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
