Retaking the Exam

Candidates who fail an administration of COMLEX-USA may apply to retake the examination on the next available scheduled test date that is at least 90 full days after the date of the last administration of their failed examination Candidates must still meet the defined eligibility criteria and must re-apply as if they are taking the examination for the first time.
 

ADA
candidates must contact the NBOME office directly and must re-apply in order to obtain an appropriate accommodation. The candidate may not reschedule his or her accommodation examination without notifying the NBOME.

A candidate may not retake any level of COMLEX-USA to improve their score for any other purpose than to pass an examination that they previously failed.
